Candice Keene

Candice Keene was born in Dallas, grew up in Phoenix, and now lives in Orlando. In 2008, she won her first figure show, then competed two weeks later at the NPC Nationals. There, she earned her pro card with the International Federation for Bodybuilding. It was a great moment for her. Since then, she has competed in 34 professional shows. Her distinguished career has resulted in 11 IFBB Figure Champion Titles, and two of those were the prestigious Figure International Titles. She is a six-time Figure Olympian, and was the runner-up in the 2014 Figure Olympia.

However, she is more than just a competitive model. She is an ISAA Certified Trainer, who helps clients in all walks of life. She is also a product developer, having created ProCakez which is a meal replacement. With time, he hopes that it will become a global product. As a model, she has also been on the cover of four magazines. Academically, she is one year’s worth of classes away from graduating from UCF with a Bachelor’s Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies focusing on Business and Communication, with a double Minor in Entrepreneurship and Psychology.

More than that, though, Keene believes in herself. She is a go-getter to whom nothing has ever come easy. Rather, she has had to work hard, persevere, and grow into the person that she wants to become. She strives to be passionate and to fight through obstacles to accomplish her goals. She is writing a book in order to show that no matter where you were before, or what your past is, that doesn’t matter or define you. In fact, her mentality is, “If you want something, go get it and make it happen!”
